must do's for the readers

Here is a must do list to all of you:

-Read the book: The five people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom. Such a wonderful book!

-Also read Paulo Coelho's The winner stands alone
!
-Watch the movie Black Swan. So dramatic and beautiful! Natalie Portman in a whole new kind of role, she is such a good actress!

-Make kanelbullar, eat them while they are still warm.

-Take a cruise Helsinki-Stockholm, eat until you die at the buffe. If you survive that, try having a normal conversation with your friends when you are high on all the carbs :P

-Discover the tv-series Svenska Hollywoodfruar. You hate them, but you still have to watch it. Just for making fun of them.

-Clean and organize your stuff, throw away things. It is so deliberating and fun.

-Join my experiment of drinking a lot of Pepsi Max just to see if we will be black in our insides when they open us up doing the autopsies :D

-Laugh a lot, life is wonderful.

These are some of my discoveries from the last past weeks. Only one week left until school starts again. What a lovely vacation I have had!

P.S. When will I ever stop reading and loving teen novels? It is my addiction. Amongst a lot of other things ;)

Bookish designs

Now that my exams are over, I still have almost 3 weeks of school break. I will do something like this probably:

I collected some bookish designs to celebrate all the unread books I own, and my passion for books and reading. Enjoy!

I should probably hire these people:

Bibliochaise:

Sleep with a book

Imaging strolling around here browsing for books, Heaven!

Please let me have this kind of apartment! (Minus all the dark colors and the animals)

Update part 1

Happy New Year to all of you. It has been amazing being at home for the holidays and that I will have a long vacation, we do not start school until the second week of February! I have not have time or inspiration to blog, but just like a diary, I should not feel bad about it since it is up to the writer to decide when, how and what to write ;)

I have been working a little, the night before Christmas morning and New Years I was having nightshifts, also I have been working some evening shifts. It is a nice change to have time to be with family & friends without work interfering. Also I realised that I am celebrating all the big holidays (Midsummer, Christmas and New Year's) at work and working nights. But not only do you get money, like my uncle said the other day I give people the time to be with their families. Which I sort of have not been thinking about, but it is true :)

The last week of school (feels like aaaaages ago!) was crazy in a good kind of way. I had so much fun but also stress. I was awake one night until five in the morning trying to get those antibiotics into my brain. And because you are sort of going crazy there in the middle of the night I did a lot of crazy things. Like cleaning the bathroom (I was moving out for good the next day) at midnight, making french fries and eating them on the kitchen floor at two in the morning. Because I almost fell asleep at three I figured that since Nomy's song, cocaine (which is a good song, even though it is dedicated to the white snow :P) did not wake me up I started waxing, the pain really did make me wake up! And to the enjoyment of the family with two small children living wall to wall with my shower I took a long hot shower at about four in the morning. At half past four I called F to wake her up so that she could start studying. A good thing is that we are, since yesterday at least, official roomies. Even though we have not started living together just yet ;)

You can imagine writing a microbiology test with just three hours of sleep. Usually I do not take any bigger harm, but this time did take the prize. It was a multiple choice test, and since it was a really hard test there were long questions. Some I read about three times until I figured out what they wanted. Some I left to be read in another round of going through the test because I did not have the energy to read them the first time around. But I made it through.

The same day as the test I had to move out of my apartment and I moved all the "small rest" of my stuff with the help of a taxi, to F's place. We had a test the next day that we did not prepare for at all before that day and we were just SO tired. So we decided to just leave it.

F had her alarm clock set at five, and since the other person is awake and even if you are not you sort of subconsciously still know and have to wake up. So at six we started to have our own seminar with F as the teacher, me the student and we even got me a "star-system" for every good answer or explanations I gave my teacher :D Yep we were tired. And yep we were going crazy with way too few hours of sleep. The next day was the last day of school, the test was pretty simple, and me and F were on a crazy zombie mode. We and some classmates celebrated the last day of school by going out and eat. The night ended for our part by playing "herremanpåtäppan" on the raekoja plats, me in my high heel boots xD When we came to F's place we still had to pack and clean, I think we went to sleep sometime after three and we had to get up at seven. To pack the last things and get our stuff into J's car, moving up and down and get to the bus. It was a hurrying day and I once again realised that I just travel with too much stuff. When we came onto the boat we just sat down on the floor and barely moved. But still we were happily talking. In Finland my suitcase got stuck in the snow but I made it to my friend's place in Esbo. And while she went partying I slept in her apartment and watched Tudors and slept some more.

Me and J had a lot of plans. But we sort of ended up laying in the apartment and talking and laughing at each other (okay I did most of that :P). Still we managed just in time to the Christmas party at J's student society and boy we had a good time. Best party ever. We partied around the clock six to six. I have never danced that much and sung that much (without anybody complaining about my aweful voice). And again, loads of talking. This Christmas has been all about talking and getting stuck with your mouth in some interesting conversation. I love it!

We had a train to catch at one o'clock so we did not get that much sleep, but it was okay. We saw a movie (Vampire's suck, such a BAD movie, but so right for the tired but happy mood we were in!) and part of the first episode of Walking dead, which I will start watching when I am back in Tartu.

At home we celebrated a late birthday with the family. I got many nice presents and we ate christmascakes and had some Julmust. But I was way too tired to stay up late.

This was all for part pne, more coming up :)
